SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a device for forming images using a radiation method. The device has a block of sensors comprising a pixel with a MIS-type converter element, a light source for illuminating the MIS-type converter element and a control unit. The control unit controls the light source so as to illuminate light on the MIS-type converter element until the MIS-type converter element switches to saturated state before radiation reaches the block of sensors. The control method involves steps on which: light is emitted from the source until the MIS-type converter element switches to saturation state, in image signal is obtained, in which radiation is emitted to the block of sensors after the step on which light is emitted. The machine-readable medium stores a program which controls the image formation device.
