SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and can be used in designing new and upgrading existing digital information transmission systems. Use of the decoder while using a cluster analysis method provides guaranteed correction of n-k erasures in contrast to decoders using Hamming metric, which can correct only d-1<n-k erasures. Complexity of the decoder does not depend on the frequency of the corrected erasures.
EFFECT: more reliable reception of information.
