FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to farming machines. The cutting facility consists of a beam with fingers secured to it. A knife including a knife band with cutting segments attached on it and a head connected to a drive are arranged inside the fingers. Cutting segments are fastened on the knife band in pairs with alternating incisions downward at one pair, and upward at another. Friction bands are arranged on the beam; and low surface of the knife band rests on them. Fingers are doubled in form of assembled structure consisting of upper and lower counter-cutting plates and a bracket. Double fingers are arranged on the beam alternately interchanging the tempered low counter-cutting plate and not tempered upper counter cutting plate; and further - vice versa: the tempered upper counter-cutting plate and not-tempered low counter-cutting plate. The cutting segments with incisions upward are arranged inside the double fingers with the tempered low counter-cutting plate and not tempered upper counter-cutting plate. The cutting segments with incisions downward are arranged inside the double fingers with the tempered upper counter-cutting plate and not tempered lower counter-cutting plate. At operation of the cutting facility the cutting segments are pressed to tempered counter-cutting plates facilitating tempering only upper or only lower plate in each double finger.

EFFECT: reduced cost of cutting facility.
