SUBSTANCE: finger includes upper and lower shear knives welded to each other to form a rectangular slot. A bracket is welded to the lower shear knife. The upper and lower shear knives have sharpened bent tips in their front part. On the lower shear knife there are relief ledges provided in the form of an extended oval in areas of welding with the help of stamping. A welding core in its section is an extended oval. Cutting surfaces of the upper and lower shear knives have tempering. The finger has a tempered lower shear knife and a non-tempered upper shear knife or vice versa.

EFFECT: increased reliability of cutting device fingers operation and reduction of cost.
