FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: according to the method parametres of cereals are calculated on base of model of bio-productivity EPIC and on base of daily meteorological data. The block of input data on solar radiation in the EPIC model is modified for calculation of parametres of the crop by means of utilisation of daily evaluated data of weather stations and data of remote sensing, on base of which there are calculated standard vegetation and leaf indices. Also leaf index LAI is calculated by means of satellite image of studied territory. Further leaf index LAI is corrected according to space photos or to data of earth observations on specified dates of plant growth till leaf index LAI reaches maximum. Maximal temperature of soil is determined by summary short-wave solar radiation, while minimal temperature is determined by effective atmosphere radiation. Short-wave radiation emitted to crops is assessed by air humidity measured at weather stations. The following parametres of plants are calculated with regressive equations: bio-mass, leaf index, plant height, and root weight; monitoring of grain crops condition in the period from sowing to harvesting is performed by these parametres of bio-productivity.

EFFECT: assessment of yield and terms of grain crops harvesting.
