FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely, to neurosurgery and vascular surgery. The maxillary artery (MA) is isolated from a preauricular access behind the branch of the mandible. The trunk of the MA is resected from its mouth, the mouth of the superficial temporal artery. Transposition of the distal sections of the external carotid artery with the mouth of the MA is performed from the position medial to the branch of the mandible to the position lateral to the branch of the mandible in order to reduce the depth of the surgical wound. A proximal anastomosis is performed: mouth of the MA with the radial artery, end-to-end type. Then the radial artery is passed under the skin in the zygomatic region, and a distal anastomosis is performed: radial artery with segments M2 or M3 of the middle cerebral artery, end-to-side type.
EFFECT: possibility of shortening the time of operation, facilitating the main stage of the operation, reducing the risk of thrombosing and compressing the bypass, increasing the operating time of the bypass, and reducing the postoperative functional and haemorrhagic complications.
