FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgical dentistry, and is intended for application in ablation of tumours of infratemporal and pterigopalatine fossas, pterigopalatine space and nasopharynx. Upper lip is dissected on medial line on entire thickness, cut is continued surrounding nose wing, upwards along its base to medial edge of eyebrow, on medial line in frontal and parietal regions to its middle. Two cuts are made in region of medial eye angle, the first - along natural fold of upper eyelid to external eye angle and the second - subciliarily along eyelash edge of lower eyelid to connection at external eye angle with the cut on upper eyelid. Flaps of upper and lower eyelids are mobilised together with orbicular muscle of eye. Subperiosteal detachment of soft tissues in frontal and temporal regions to infratemporal crest is carried out. Cut of mucosa is performed on upper vestibule arch. After that saw cut is made in bone from inferior orbital fissure, along lower edge of orbit to its medial wall, further via inferior orbital edge along pyriform aperture, along the tops of roots of upper teeth, on posterior wall of upper jaw to pterygoid process of main bone, mobilised and turned away is laterally formed skin-muscle-bone flap of middle zone of face and head, including zygomatic bone, inferior orbital edge with anterior wall of upper jaw. To provide wide access to nasopharynx posterior third of medial wall of upper jaw is resected.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to provide wide access, reduce complications in post-operation period and face deformation due to performing osteotomy without detachment of soft tissues from facial bones in composition of soft-tissue flap.
