FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to devices for grinding of feed grain with further separation of ground materials into fractions and may be used in agricultural production and mixed fodder industry. Hammer mill for feed grain includes grinding chamber with rotor, loading and unloading windows, separating chamber with truncated perforated chamber, inside of which there is cone beater installed. Truncated perforated cone has openings, diametres of which is selected according to the following dependence: Di=a1+a2·d-a3·ω·Ri+a4·d2+a5·ω·Ri·d, where Di is current value of cone perforated surface opening diametre, mm; d is required size of ground material particles, mm; ω is angular speed of cone beater, c-1 Ri is current radius of perforated cone, mm; a1 a2, a3, a4, a5 are empirical coefficients, a1=0.185 mm; a2=0.82; a3=7.46·10-6 c; a4=0.046 mm-1; a5=6.06·10-5 s/mm.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve efficiency of separating chamber and quality of produced product.
