FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of installations for application of powders (spangles, abrasive or antifriction particles) onto surface of various materials cloth: wallpapers, paper, fabrics, nonwoven materials, etc. Installation for application of powder onto material cloth comprises batching shaft arranged on rotary supports with cylindrical working surface and feeding hopper installed above this shaft with horizontal shift relative to vertical axis of its cross section, and hopper comprises sealing device arranged at the outlet of batching shaft from zone of contact with hopper and including elastic plate that contacts with batching shaft by means of one of edges and is located along tangent to section of batching shaft cross section contour placed inside hopper. Contour of elastic plate edge that contacts with working surface of batching shaft is arranged as geared with teeth pitch equal to 10-20 mm and even along length of this edge. Height of teeth is equal to 0.5-0.8 of pitch, distances between teeth are equal to height of teeth.

EFFECT: installation is more reliable and efficient, besides it makes it possible to increase quality and reduce prime cost of finished product due to simplified technology of its production, functional resources of installation are also expanded, which consist in giving it ability to apply powder onto material cloth by longitudinal strips that differ in thickness of coating, or longitudinal strips separated with gaps unoccupied with powder.
