FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method provides cultivation of the analysed suspension of bacteria cells in the distilled water. It is followed with test exposure of the analysed suspension of cells dissolved in the distilled water to a detergent which is presented with sodium dodecyl sulphate in amount corresponding to the detergent concentration in the test as 3.21; 5.69; 11.19; 16.52 mMole. The prepared samples are exposed during 5 minutes that is followed with photometric record of the optical density of said cell suspension. Then the bacteria resistance index corresponding to the concentration of sodium dodecyl sulphate inducing 50% lysis of bacteria cells (C50), is evaluated, then bacteria resistance to lyophilisation is predicted from the equation of linear regression: Bp=9.7C50+1.9, where Bp is the predicted estimated bacteria resistance (survival rate) to lyophilisation, percent; C50 is the cell resistance to sodium dodecyl sulphate, corresponding to the concentration of detergent inducing 50% cell lysis in the suspension; 9.7 and 1.9 are the coeficients.
EFFECT: invention allows predicting bacteria resistance to lyophilisation.
