FIELD: heating systems.
SUBSTANCE: drying and sorting plant for loose materials is put to operating position by means of lifting mechanism, forced draft fan is activated and material is supplied from hopper to drying chamber. Microwave emitters are activated and material is dried in fluidised bed under influence of forced draft fan. Rubber-coated housing cover minimises material damage risk. Material is supplied from hopper as its concentration decreases in fluidised bed. Dried material rises above dense grain level and comes under influence of sorting fan. The latter blows dried material to sorting chamber, and at the same time, cools it. Evaporated moisture passes through exhaust pipes to atmosphere. Under influence of air flow, material depending on dimensions and weight is divided in sorting sections into large, middle and small fractions. In case forced draft fan is failed, dried material falls to nonperforated grid, thus preventing the material from penetration into the fan.
EFFECT: invention allows reducing the risk of damage to processed material and maintaining its quality.
