FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: compact set of fibres with specified mass is combed, shaped into an even tape, passed through draw plate equipped with radiating-perceiving system of acoustic sensors fixed on draw plate as normal to direction of tape motion, and average parametres are used to identify value of transmitted acoustic signal, besides radiation of acoustic oscillations is executed from one radiating sensor into two channels, one of which is a reference one, and the other one is a control one, radiation is carried out in process of continuous scanning of radiated oscillations frequency in preset range of frequencies, frequency is registered on receiving sensor of reference unit, when antinode or node of a standing acoustic wave is produced in presence of reference sample of fibres, parametres of which have been identified earlier with the help of standard methods, and in absence of reference sample, using ratio of detected frequencies, proportion coefficient is identified, and value of frequency, when antinode or node of standing acoustic wave occurs, having passed through fibrous tape in a control channel, multiplied by a produced proportion ratio, average parameters of fibres are identified in a controlled fibrous tape.
EFFECT: improved accuracy, objectivity and efficiency of monitoring over average parametres of compact set of fibres in technological process.
