FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: in method in phase of budding-flowering, 25-30 plants of each specimen are selected with most developed leaves 4-5 of internode, which are exposed to action of electromagnetic field with the help of gas discharge visualisation device "Corona-TV". Images are registered in the form of bioelectrograms of gas discharge glow with exposition of gas discharge for 1 sec. and power mode "1". By maximum intensity of glow within the limits of 100-120 relative units and higher, high content of sugar is identified in plants.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to assess samples for a short period of time, to detect most valuable forms and to simplify selection.
