FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to agriculture and breeding. In the above method the resistance of breeding material to blast disease is evaluated. At that, transverse cuts of leading shoots picked up during milk-wax ripeness phase are processed with Chilean saltpeter, carbamide, acetic acid and caustic soda solutions and stability degree of analysed material to blast disease is determined as per colour grade of cross section: from brown to light-brown - high resistant (HR); from bright orange to bright yellow - resistant (R); from yellow to maize yellow - non-resistant (NR).
EFFECT: method allows evaluating shapes of raw material for resistance to blast disease and developing the appropriate recommendations.
