METHOD FOR TESTING OF FOREST COASTAL SMALL MEADOW GRASS Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC A01G23/00 

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in biotechnical and biochemical assessment of grass cover in coastal small meadows of woodlands, in particular within the borders of water protection zone. Invention may also be used to account influence at crop capacity and other properties of grass from forest edge that surrounds floodplain meadow, and to orient group of test sites versus cardinal points. Within the borders of water protection zone, visually on map or in reality, section of meadow is separated with tested grass cover, then on this section, along with river or its tributary flow, groups of test sites are marked with crosslike location along and across coastal line, marking takes into account constant distance between centres of test sites along and across the river, and after cutting, samples of grass are exposed to tests, and test results are used to identify law of distance effect from river coast and along at parametres of grass properties.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of forest coastal small meadow grass properties measurement by results of tests of grass samples cut from groups of similar sites oriented towards cardinal points, and increased functional resources for identification of laws of river and forest influence at crop capacity of meadow grass and soil productivity in small meadow.
