FIELD: power transfer.
SUBSTANCE: method to transfer power between, for example truck tractor and semi-trailer, is based on using one electric power supply line (2) arranged on first vehicle (1) and one power distributing line (4) arranged on second vehicle (3). Said line (4) is connected with consumers (5), and, via plug-in connection system (6), to power supply line (2), and comprises power accumulation device (7). Power is fed into power distribution line (4) from power supply line (2) in controlled mode. Note here that plug-in connection system (6) is loaded only temporarily when power in line (4) drops down below preset minimum level. Proposed power transfer system comprises power accumulation device (7). Power supply line (2) and power distribution line (4) make power control loop (8). Plug-in connection system (6) can be temporarily loaded by power from line (2) only in case power in line (4) drops below preset minimum level.
