FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: method for determination of long fibre yield on the basis of physical parametres of fibrous material includes measurement of mass and moisture of raw materials and long fibre with account of duration of technological operation for extraction of long fibre from stock and portion of scrap produced in the process imperfect product, flow line control is provided over mass of raw materials loaded onto roll unwinder, and amounts of scrap and long fibre at outlet from scutching-and-breaking machine, and contactless moisture monitoring, which is executed upstream layer-forming device and downstream scutching machine, monitoring data is used to calculate current value of long fibre yield in analyser unit with transfer of obtained result to digital indicator.

EFFECT: use of the present invention makes it possible to improve validity of obtained results and to reduce labour intensiveness of raw materials mass control.
