FIELD: textiles, paper.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to standardisation of flax raw materials and can be used on plants of primary processing of flax to determine the strength of flax stock. The method is based on measuring the percentage of lignin and pectin substances in the stalk of flax stock, for which the measurement of absolute value of infrared spectrum of the flax stock in area 8333 cm-1 is carried out.
EFFECT: invention provides a non-contact and non-destructive for stalk determination, as well as reduction of time of carrying out the measurement.
