FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to elasto-friction rail joint comprising flexible clamping element. The latter is locked, as-mounted, between clamping plate and fastening anchor to hold rail foot in required position, and is made symmetric about vertically oriented plane of symmetry (7) perpendicular to rail lengthwise axis. Said clamping element has two torsion arms (1a', 1a"). The latter, as-mounted, are arranged between clamping plate and fastening anchor. Both said torsion arms (1a', 1a") are interjointed by jointing section (1b) on the side opposite the rail. Loop-like clamping section (1d', 1d") is arranged on every torsion ring end (1c', 1c") facing the rail. Said clamping section adjoins torsion rings and passes, first, perpendicular to plane of symmetry (7) and, then, in a loop-like way unless ends (1e' 1e") of clamping section (1d', 1d") reach ends (1c', 1c") of torsion rings (1a', 1a"). With flexible clamping element loose, torsion rings (1a', 1a") are located in the first plane, while the part of loop-like clamping sections (1d', 1d") is located in the second plane. The latter is turned with respect to the first plane about axis (11), which passes parallel to axis of intersection of plane (7) of symmetry with the first plane.
EFFECT: two-stage overload protection of rail joint.
