SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in different sectors of the economy: in electroplating, for analysis of hydrospheric systems, in household and sewage water, in the food industry and in medicine. The method of making a solid-state ion-selective electrode involves deposition on a base made from chrome-nickel steel of an electrode-active mass - a 0.025 mm thick layer of chemical-resistant polymer of butvar-phenolic adhesive with an electrode-active substance which contains a mixture of sulphides of copper and cadmium, into which thermal expanded graphite is added, with the following ratio of components, wt %: CdS - 45-50, CuS - 35-40, thermal expanded graphite - 3-5, butvar-phenolic adhesive -2 - 8-20.
EFFECT: cheap method, as well as obtaining an ion-selective electrode with improved technical characteristics.
