FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: method for detection of latent evidences of fire seat and burning paths involves on-site investigation of soot depositions on retained structures and objects with a subject of inquiry being soot depositions on electroconductive surfaces of structures and subjects. The investigation is realised by the vortex-current. A measured parametre is vortex current amplitude, and a seat zone and main paths of convection currents therefrom are detected by extremely high values of said parametre.
EFFECT: invention allows detecting evidences of fire seat and indicators of burning directivity along the sooty surfaces of structures and products of any electroconductive materials.
