FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for generating acoustic vibrations in a flowing liquid medium and can be used for carrying out and intensifying different physical and chemical, hydromechanical, heat-mass transfer processes in "liquid-liquid" systems and "solid substance-liquid" systems. The rotary device has a housing with medium inlet and outlet pipes, concentrically fitted rotor and stator with channels in sidewalls of cylinders, an insonification chamber and an actuator. In the sidewall of the chamber opposite the outlet from the channels in the stator, there are rods fitted with possibility of back-and-forth displacement, where the axis of the rods coincides with the axis of the channels in the stator. On the end surface of the rod there is a reflector in form of a hole, where the distance between the end of the rod and the outer surface of the stator is not less than 0.05 mm.
EFFECT: invention enables intensification of physical and mechanical, hydromechanical and heat-mass transfer processes.
