FIELD: physics, chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for creation of acoustic vibrations in the fluid flowing medium and can be applied to the execution and intensification of different physical and chemical, hydro-mechanical and heat-mass-exchange processes in the “fluid - fluid” system; the device for physical and chemical processing of the fluid medium comprises the housing with the medium inlet and outlet junction pipes, rotor and stator the concentrically installed therein with the channels in the sidewalls of the cylinders and elastic plates fixed in the housing walls opposite the channels in the sidewall of the stator; the elastic knife-edged plates are symmetrically fixed lengthwise the stator channels axis in the enclosure of the resonators having the shape of a parallelepiped or cylinder; the resonators enclosures are connected to the sound chamber by means of the channels; the stator channels consist of two sections of different rectangular cross-sections, at that the inlet narrowing section having the lateral surface in the shape of a parabolical or hyperbolic cylinder smoothly changes over to the outlet section of the channel made in the shape of the constant cross-section nozzle.
EFFECT: intensification of physical and chemical, hydro-mechanical and heat-mass-exchange processes.
