SUBSTANCE: proposed gas turbine locomotive comprises body with roof and sidewalls, main power plant representing has turbine engine and auxiliary diesel articulated therewith. Gas turbine locomotive incorporates two main power plants made up of aircraft gas turbine engines with thrust reversal arranged in engine nacelles attached to gas turbine locomotive sidewalls. Note that body roof accommodates at least one aerodynamic fin.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability.
