FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas turbine locomotives running on liquefied natural gas. Proposed locomotive comprises hosing with roof and sidewalls, power plant representing gas turbine engine and auxiliary diesel articulated therewith. Power plant fuel system comprises heat exchanger-cooler, waste heat exchanger and fuel-oil heat exchanger. Fuel system incorporates additionally second heat exchanger-gasifier arranged in locomotive second section, while heat exchanger-cooler is arranged in air intake to allow easy air passage. Proper plant comprises compressor and combustion chamber with its outlet communicated, via gas line, with turbine and jet nozzle. Birotary turbo compressor consists of two turbo compressors running in opposite directions and comprising shafts supporting compressor impellers and turbine wheels. Second heat exchanger-gasifier is mounted behind the turbine one shaft of power plant is linked to, via distributing box, with auxiliary diesel. Outer housing is arranged concentric relative to turbo compressor shafts.
EFFECT: higher reliability, reduced weight and sizes.
