FIELD: aerospace engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to delivery of cargoes with the help of landing craft (LC) interacting with atmosphere. LC has tight inflatable compartment (2) with flexible heat resistance enclosure (3), spherical when filled with gas. Said compartment (2) accommodates gas source (6) and cargo container (1). The latter is attached to aforesaid enclosure (3). LC separated from orbital station, compartment (2) is filled with gas to makes the shape of enclosure (3) a sphere. LC deceleration for deorbiting and changing into drift down in dense atmosphere are performed only due to aerodynamic force originating in flight in thin atmosphere. Compartment (2) completely filled, LC is observed only by signals of its radio communication means (7) at several points of LC deceleration trajectory in thin atmosphere. Note here that LC trajectory parametres are determined to forecast time and coordinates of LC atmospheric entry and landing point.
EFFECT: high efficiency of cargo delivery to Earth surface at lower costs.
