FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine production, particularly to internal combustion engine fuel system components. Proposed method to produce and burn ICE working mix comprises sucking air into cylinder, forcing fluid fuel into cylinder from fuel feed element isolated from engine structural components, and advancing high-voltage electric discharge between said fuel feed element and piston bottom at the end of compression stroke to make fuel-air work mix. Fluid fuel tubular section flow is fed towards piston bottom, electric discharge is advanced through aforesaid tubular section fuel flow. Proposed device to produce and burn ICE working mix comprises fuel feed pump communicated with fuel feed element, system to generate high-voltage electric discharge inside cylinder, said system being made up of electrode that doubles as ICE piston and electrode that doubles as fuel feed element isolated from ICE structural components. Aforesaid system communicates with fuel feed pump and is connected with high-voltage source connected to electrode. Proposed device comprises element to form tubular section flow to facilitate high-voltage electric discharge.

EFFECT: notably higher ICE thermal fuel efficiency.
