FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sealing gaskets. Gasket contains closure element, implemented in the form of ring from extended graphite, and snugly embraced it by peripheral face and connected to it device of centering sealing gasket relative to connection flanges. Annular surface of ring from extended graphite is encased from porous polytetrafluoroethylene, which is implemented as double-layer. Each layer of envelope, in turn, is formed by 3-5 layers of bands from cellular polytetrafluoroethylene of corresponding porosity. Additionally each layer of envelope is formed by winding by strips of cellular polytetrafluoroethylene of annular surface of ring from extended graphite with tension and overlapping. Device for centering is implemented from corrugated cardboard and is outfitted by radially directed bolt, projecting over flanges of connection. Connection of centering facility with closure element is implemented by means of winding of bolts and sealing element by strip from cellular polytetrafluoroethylene. Sealing element can be reinforced.
EFFECT: invention improves reliability of sealing.
