FIELD: heating systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to power engineering and can be used for steam generators of nuclear power stations with liquid-metal heat carrier at compensation of thermal expansions of the latter. Expansion joint of sectional steam generator includes housing with lower liquid-metal heat carrier supply and discharge nozzles and upper gaseous medium discharge nozzles, separation shells and gas outlet hoods located in housing, the former of which are installed under the latter and connected in lower part to heat carrier supply nozzles, and in upper part - to cavity of housing. Housing is equipped with corrugated plates and partitions; at that, corrugated plates are located horizontally and form together with partitions installed between gas outlet hoods the cavity isolated from liquid-metal dust. Such construction provides the possibility of performing damper compensation of volume expansions of heat carrier of sectional steam generator and allows reducing propagation of metal dust deposited on heat carrier path surfaces.
EFFECT: improving operating reliability of the design as a whole.
