FIELD: heating systems.
SUBSTANCE: water heater is intended for heat supply to rooms with various surface areas. In hollow housing of water heater there located are parallel plates. Plates divide housing cavity into flow-through channels which are interconnected with each other thus forming a single zigzag-shaped channel. On both surfaces of plates, as well as on inner surfaces of narrow side walls of housing there located are parallel planks of shaped profile, which are adjacent to them or made together with them, and forming local liquid flow swirlers. When liquid passes through zigzag-shaped channel, swirl formations appear owing to profile of planks. At that, some part of flow passes via channel, and some part of it is delayed in time in local swirl areas. Some part of flow is returned to additional heating.
EFFECT: considerable increase in heating of heat-carrying liquid.
