FIELD: testing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to determination of strength and deformation properties. Specimen in watertight rubber covering is placed in sealed chamber of triaxial compression. Chamber is filled with working fluid, air is removed from it and valve is closed. Then specimen is refilled with fluid and is subjected to limited all-around compression. First stage of axial pressure is applied to upper die. When relative stabilisation is achieved specimen is additionally subjected to cyclical axial load till relative stabilisation of specimen. Next test stage is started. Tests are performed till specimen is destroyed. As power mechanism of axial load pneumatic cylinder is used, and additional cyclical alternating sinusoidal load applied to upper die is provided by simultaneous successive synchronous generation of pressure differential in upper and lower chambers of pneumatic cylinder using electronic control unit. Protruding lower end of rod of pneumatic cylinder is provided with autonomous controlled electric actuator.

EFFECT: provision of consideration of real factors of impact on construction footing.
