FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: alternating-sign vibration loads are additionally applied to sample by means of plunger of vibration regulator of specified frequency and amplitude simultaneously with creation of shear load in soil sample with rod of power aggregate. There are recorded values of summary shear loads and of values of porous pressure corresponding to them is the soil sample from summary loads of shear load and vibration loads to it. A pressure tight chamber is used as a platform movable on horizontal direction relative to a stationary base. For this purpose bottom of a lower section of the chamber is matched to a flat metal plate equipped with rollers and projecting beyond boundaries of the chamber with overhung ends, one of which is static connected with the rod of the power aggregate, the vibration regulator is static mounted on another end. A movable plunger of vibration regulator is put through a packing and through a side wall of a lower section of the chamber and is rigidly connected with a movable carriage arranged in a cavity of the chamber. Also, the plate centring an upper punch performs limited horizontal transfers between guides mounted between two vertical plates secured of side surfaces of the movable carriage. The plate centring the upper punch is connected with one end of a rigid dynamometre positioned in the upper part of the chamber. With another end through the power rod and packing bush in a wall of the chamber the dynamometre is connected with a stationary stop secured on the power aggregate. As cylinder lower and upper frames there is used a set of flat ground metal plates with two spline grooves formed in each of them. This set of flat plates is arranged by total sheared height of soil sample between upper plane of the movable carriage and lower plane of the plate centring the upper punch. These flat plates are uniformly horizontally set off relative to each other by means of two guiding pins passed through the spline grooves of the set of flat plates. The pins are pivotally secured with lower end to the movable carriage, while with their upper end - in orifices formed in the plate centring the upper punch. Also, the pins are inclined at sample shear and axially slide in the said orifices. Here is also disclosed the device for implementation of the above said method.
