FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for investigation of multicomponent solutions. In method of electrochemical analysis, according to invention, current voltage characteristic of cell is determined by charge-discharge cycles performed by given current within the range of values of potential on working electrode including values of potentials of probable electrode reactions of components. At that range of potentials is divided into intervals and duration of potential gradient within limits of these intervals upon charge and discharge is measured. According to data concerning current, duration of charge and discharge in each interval of cycle, change in concentration of required component in solution is determined.
EFFECT: invention provides increase of rate and accuracy of measurement of current voltage characteristic of boundary line "fluid - electrode surface" in broad range of values of potential of working electrode, at that accuracy of measurement of current voltage characteristic allows to identify both separate components of sample and sample as a whole by methods of image identification.
