FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind power engineering and can be used in wind turbines to reduce vibration loads. Wind turbine comprises tower, nacelle supported on tower top, rotor furnished with at least one blade and mounted on nacelle, and vibration load reduction system arranged on either tower top or nacelle. The latter system comprises base, at least two columns rising from the base and fluid mass accommodated inside the base and two columns. Note here that said base counteracts nacelle turn relative to said tower. Valve is arranged on aforesaid base. Fluid mass can represent fluid or balls and be selected so that its flow rate displaces in counter phase with frequency of tower flexural oscillations.
EFFECT: reduced vibration and fatigue loads.
