FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to agricultural production, in particular to devices for evaluation of seed grain quality. Device comprises tray, transparent reservoir for sand and bed for seeds. Lower part of reservoir for sand is represented in the form of cylinder, and upper part - in the form of cone. Cone pressing device is placed on upper part of reservoir. Sealant is installed between reservoir and pressing device. In lower part of reservoir on tray there are the following components arranged one over another - circular reservoir, along border of which seed bed is located, and detachable sealing rings. There is ledge provided in the centre of circular reservoir.
EFFECT: application of invention will make it possible to evaluate force of seed growth in case of different density of substrate and to more accurately calculate norm of seeding.
