FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to devices for measuring blood pressure at home. Device contains signal generator, constructed in such way as to remember patient to perform blood pressure measurement or to turn on the device automatically in accordance with preliminary set measurement schedule. Device is constructed in such way that it is possible to perform measurement only in a temporal window and contains means for blocking device operation out of temporal window near signalling time. Method of working with device for blood pressure measurement, in particular with device of claimed invention, contains the following steps: providing preliminarily set measurement schedule; generation of warning signal, which reminds patient about performance of measurement or turning on the device. Further, method contains stage at which device operation is blocked if current time is not in preliminarily set temporal window near the signalling time.
EFFECT: application of invention allows patient to control blood pressure on their own in view of further diagnostics.
