FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: IOL implantation is performed before keratoablation of cornea 2-3 days after formation of corneal flap on pedicle, through access formed outside flap zone. After that stabilisation of clinical eye refraction and cornea topography are waited for. After that laser keratoablation is performed. As IOL, used is flexible lens, which is implanted into capsule sac through corneal tunnel microaccess, made from temporal side at distance 1.5 mm from corneal flap edge. Cut is first formed perpendicularly to cornea surface to depth 450 mcm, then instrument is directed towards the pupil with exit of its distal end in anterior chamber, in zone of projection of corneal flap edge. Method ensures obtaining stable high refractive result.
EFFECT: preservation of distance from cut for IOL implantation to preliminarily formed corneal flap ensures preservation of support function of cornea and reduction of operational and post-operational complications.
