FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: mosaic item is manufactured on rigid or flexible base, comprises stone-like decorative elements with size from 0.1-5 mm of spherical shape, which are laid according to law of flat tightly packed structure. Elements are fixed by means of binder, with addition of reinforcing elements into item base.
EFFECT: creation of mosaic picture with the possibility of curvilinear surfaces decoration, high strength characteristics, increased speed of its manufacturing as a result of process automation.
