FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly to steels for production of cast high-load part subjected to impact loads with friction in wear caused by cavitation and corrosion. Proposed steel contains components in the following ratio in wt %: carbon - 0.08-0.15, chromium - 13.0-18.0, nickel - 3.0-6.0, molybdenum - 3.0-5.0, titanium - 0.5-1.0, silicon - 0.8-1.5, manganese - 2.0-3.0, niobium - 0.5-1.5, boron - 0.4-0.8, iron and impurities making the rest. Said impurities can contain phosphorus, sulphur and copper. Total content of sulphur and phosphorus is not over 0.035% while that of copper is under 0.3%.
EFFECT: higher strength and wear resistance at sufficient ductility.
