FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: here is disclosed hydro-pneumatic accumulator intended for recuperation of hydraulic energy in hydro-systems with high level of pulsation. The accumulator consists of a case, wherein gas and liquid ports are connected correspondingly with gas and liquid reservoirs of variable volume; also the reservoirs are separated one from another with a movable divider. The gas reservoir contains a compressed regenerator filling the gas reservoir so, that travelling of the divider, decreasing volume of the gas reservoir, compresses the regenerator. The regenerator is made out of sheet elements arranged across direction of divider motion; the sheet elements divide the gas reservoir into communicating gas layers of variable thickness; also the sheet elements of the regenerator are kinematically connected with the divider and can increase thickness of gas layers divided with them, when volume of the gas reservoir increases, and decrease those, when volume decreases.
EFFECT: increased reversibility of gas compression and expansion processes in gas reservoir and efficiency of recuperation of hydraulic energy; also facilitating increased service life of recuperator even at strong jerks of divider, decreased gas leaks and wear of piston packing.
