FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: buffer can be used in hydraulic systems for transfer of hydraulic energy between working fluids with various temperatures and with reduced heat exchange between them. Buffer consists of housing in which there made are at least two tanks of variable volume, which are separated from each other and each of which is interconnected with its port in the housing. Tanks of variable volume are separated from each other at least with two movable dividing elements between which there made is at least one buffer tank filled with working fluid preferably with low heat conductivity.
EFFECT: reduction of heat losses.
