FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of controlling and measuring equipment and may be used in machine building for identification (detection) of heated metal and nonmetal and unheated metal and nonmetal items. Device comprises infrared photodetectors installed along straight line, between which there are inductive and capacitance sensitive elements installed. Inductive sensitive element is arranged in the form of inductance coil placed in annular slot of open end of ferrite core with central hole. Capacitance sensitive element is installed inside central hole of ferrite core. Device also comprises threshold and logical elements, which produce circuit with three outlets. As item moves relative to sensitive elements, circuit generates logical signals at the outlets, which make it possible to identify heated nonmetal item, unheated nonmetal item and heated or unheated metal item.
EFFECT: increased reliability, expansion of functional resources and broadening of controlled items nomenclature.
