FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus accommodates inductive sensitive element designed as inductance coil arranged in circular groove of open end of open-centre ferrite core, series electric oscillator with inductive sensitive element connected to its oscillatory circuit, the first threshold element, series first infrared photodetector, pulse shaper, inverter, as well as AND-element with the first input connected to the output of the first threshold element and the output being the first output of the device, NOR-element with the output being the second output of the device. Besides, the apparatus includes the second infrared photodetector in-parallel to the first infrared photodetector connected to the input of pulse shaper with its output being the third output of the apparatus and connected to the first input of NOR-element with its second input connected to the first input of AND-element with its second input connected to the output of the inverter. There are series multivibrator with capacitive sensitive element connected to its input and executed as conducting plate of geometry retracing that of ferrite core open centre, detector, second threshold element with its output connected to the third input of NOR-element. Capacitive sensitive element is mounted in the ferrite core open centre coaxially thereto and displaced relative to the open end of ferrite core along symmetry axis of the open centre towards the closed end of ferrite core. Inductive and capacitive sensitive elements and infrared photodetectors containing in-between inductive and capacitive sensitive elements are mounted straightaway within the same plane thus forming sensitive element of the apparatus. One-way optical window planes of infrared photodetectors, open end plane of ferrite core and one plane of capacitive sensitive element are parallel thus forming sensitive surface of the apparatus.
EFFECT: apparatus enhancement ensured with possibility to detect both heated and unheated metal and nonmetal products with extended range of controlled products.
