FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to electric power engineering and can be used as anchor ears for fastening optical cables of "eight" type. The anchor ear consists of case (3) wherein central cylinder (4) with a clamping unit and side cylinders (5,6) with a connecting element are installed. The clamping unit corresponds to T-shaped pressed metal sleeve (7) with blind axial opening (8) and with conic face (9) on one end located at angle α equal to 10°+15° to lengthwise axis (16) of the ear. Part (10) of central cylinder (4) is made conic; elastic pressure tight sleeve (11) is put on this part. Length 1 and thickness S of the wall of sleeve (11) are determined from certain ratio. The connecting element is made in form of steel cable (13), on loop (12) of which there is secured dead eye (14); also ends of cable (13) are led in and moulded in bushings (15) of side cylinders (5,6). Upon sleeve (7) moulding its length is slightly increased, so that elastic pressure tight sleeve (11) is squeezed under load from optical cable drawing; all gaps of connection are eliminated thereby facilitating reliable sealing of anchor ear.
EFFECT: anchor ear is reliable in operation, possesses damping property, has simple design and is easy to assemble.
