FIELD: mechanics; power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to electrical power engineering, namely to tension (connection) clamps for attaching a load-carrying element of optical cable of 8 and reverse 8 type ("8"). Clamp consists of connection element (2) and clamp member in the form of round compression sleeve (3) with casing (4) put thereon. In end hole (5) of sleeve (3) there introduced is elastomeric ring (6) the end whereof is provided with flexible diaphragm and on internal surface whereof there are shaped protrusions (7) of variable height from maximum at ring (6) inlet to minimum at the outlet, which deflect when load-carrying member (1) of optical cable is introduced (some part of which is introduced without insulation), thus providing clamp tightness. At that, it is necessary that diametre d of load-carrying member (1) with insulation is equal to inner diametre D of elastomeric ring (6). Connection element (2) of the clamp is designed as per one of the types of standard line accessories. The proposed clamp is used on air lines 0.4 kV with self-bearing insulated wires.
EFFECT: long life time (due to tightness), operating reliability, easy design and low manufacturing costs.
