FIELD: agriculture; machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agricultural equipment, and can be used in forestry in the seats formation for creation of the tree-shrub species forest cultures with closed root system on clayey and loamy soils. Hand drill includes cylindrical rod with the transverse handle and the sharpened lower end and a working body for the seat formation. Working body is the two curved sheet steel elements with sharpened cutting lower and side edges, each of which is rigidly attached to the rod, and together having the “S” letter shape in the cross section. In the lower cutting edge each curved element has a protruding tooth.

EFFECT: with this execution, the planting holes quality is improved by reducing of their walls compaction, the planting holes formation on heavy soils of sufficient volume with a depth of more than 10 cm.
