FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: electric mode of filter - breakdown level of voltage of settling space, value of electric filter current varies within wide range. Reverse corona appearance is accompanied by increase of filter current density and reduction of voltage on its electrodes. When reverse corona appears, i.e. electric filter current density increases over certain critical value, value of minimum voltage is continuously measured on electrodes of filter, and current value is established depending on this value so that value of minimum voltage of electric filter is equal or more than value of corona discharge beginning voltage Umin≥Uo If=F(Umin).

EFFECT: optimal extent of gas cleaning from dust.
