FIELD: systems for automatic control of high-voltage aggregates for energizing electric filters for gas scrubbing. SUBSTANCE: method provides applying of rectified high-voltage electric current to electric filter when system " rectifying unit - electric filter" operates in conditions of sharp change of technological parameters of scrubbed gas. Filter electric operation mode determined by breakthrough voltage level of precipitation space and electric current value of filter changes in wide range. When reverse corona discharge occurs, electric current density of filter increases and voltages of its electrodes drop. In order to provide optimal gas scrubbing, at occurring reverse corona discharge when electric current density of electric filter becomes higher than critical value, electric filter is energized successively in equal time intervals T1 sufficient for achieving stable operation mode of filter by means of rectified electric current pulses with repetition frequency F= 2fc/2n+1. At each of said time intervals stable amplitude and mean voltage values of electric filter are measured for calculating their products, storing them and comparing product values corresponding to different repetition frequency of rectified electric current. Then energization mode with maximum product value of stable amplitude and mean voltage values is selected for operation of filter. Periodically in time intervals T2 processes for testing, determination and selection of new frequency mode of filter energization are automatically repeated.
