FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to drilling installations intended for construction of pipelines of various purpose by means of directed drilling, and namely to devices intended for manipulation of drill rods. System of charging drill rods to working area of the drilling installation of directed drilling includes manipulator with hydraulic drive made with possibility of being moved along longitudinal axis of drilling installation and monitoring system of the position of the drilling column in the working area of the installation and automatic positioning of manipulator with the drill rod.
EFFECT: proposed invention allows preventing an emergency situation when charging drill rods to the working area of the drilling installation.
