FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to mining industry and can be used at development of buried ore deposits in order to extract deposits in pillars under guarded industrial and natural objects on the surface without filling the worked-out area. Method provides for extraction of minerals from pillar with further filling of the worked-out area. In order to perform the method, there predetermined is depth of mine working H/L in a a pillar, where H - depth of the projected working in a vertical direction of hard rocks, m; L - length of the working, m; and weighted average value of hardness factor of overlying rocks in a vertical direction faverage. Development of deposits in a pillar by means of systems with caving is permitted only when H/L≥3 and faverage≥7. The worked-out area is filled by means of natural rock caving; at that, its process is controlled. When necessary, forced rock caving is performed till the worked-out area is fully filled.

EFFECT: invention allows providing stability of arching and safety of works when deposits are extracted from pillars by systems with caving under protected objects on the surface, reducing labour and economic costs at the objects being fully maintained on the surface.
